Eggsteme Eggventure
The Eggsteme Eggventure began on Thursday morning by coloring a dozen eggs. Ellie enjoyed coloring the eggs and took a lot of time making sure everything was just right.
Jack on the other hand, was not quite as interested. Coloring eggs wasn't eggsteme enough, so he decided to spice things up a bit.
The kids and I spent Friday evening with the Emery's. Ellie and the Emery kids colored a few more eggs. This time we kept Jack at a safe distance. Saturday morning we went to the Easter Eggstavaganza at the church. We started by decorating a few egg shaped cupcakes. This took quite a while.
We listened closley to Miss Kathy tell the Easter story.
Then it was outside for the egg hunt.
(Take a look at Jack's shoes! They are adorable!)
We finished out Eggventure with some face painting and a hotdog lunch.
We had an Eggcellent time and can't wait to see what the Easter bunny is going to bring us.

Pappy Steve
Eventhough we were sad that our Daddy was gone this week, we were so happy that Pappy Steve came to visit. After throwing up three times, pee pee in my purse, and Pappy Steve's plane being delayed; he finally made it to AL. We spent a lot of time outdoors. Thank you for coming to visit Pappy Steve. We had a GREAT time!

Prayer Warrior
Last Night Ellie fell while running through the church to say goodnight to her Daddy. She had three small booboos, but if you know Ellie you know that nothing is small when it comes to her. Of course we had to be extra cautious during bath and after bandaging the wounds, she requested that I pray for her. After praying over her, I went to get their cups for bed and when I came back Ellie and Jack were in her room praying together. When I first sat down she asked me (like she does everynight) "Mommy how does it go." Once I got her started they didn't seem to mind or even notice I was there they just continued to pray.

Please, No Hate Mail!
I figured that I should update the Moore Family blog, before I begin receiving hate mail. Do not mistake the lack of entries on the blog as inactivity in the life of the Moore Family. Believe me there is plenty of activity in this family. Take yesterday for instance.
Yesterday morning Jackson ate a sucker for beakfast. well, not exactly. He came into our bathroom eating a sucker that he had found in his diaper bag. He was enjoying it so much, that I didn't have the heart to take it from him. I just prayed that he would hurry and finish it before Ellie woke up and I had to give her one too.
At church, Ellie decided to pretend that she was one of the step sisters from Cinderella. Her interpretation of the role included, not speaking to ANYONE, walking slowly behind me with arms folded and in general just being plain mean.
Jackson sported a pair of his sisters leggins after spilling water on himself during church.
The days activities climaxed with a game of bowling. It was Ellie and Jackson's first time bowling. We had a great time and the best part was that Aunt Gail and Uncle Bobby accompanied us.

Ellie's Big Day
Ellie's adventure started by heading to Birmingham for a princess birthday party for the Emery girls. She was wearing a Cinderella gown and her hair was all fixed up. When we were about ten minutes away, Scott turned around and said "she took her hair down". He was only joking, but I gasped and turned around quickly. I then turned to him and quietly said "you piece of crap." Almost simultaneously we heard a little voice reply "I'm not crap". She continued saying crappy crappy crappy. At this point I thought she was saying "crabby". I shared this assumption with Scott and was quickly set straight by my sweet little princess when she said, "No I'm not, I said crappy". Well isn't that just GREAT!!! I knew there would come a day when my child would learn a dirty word, but I never thought I would be the one to teach her.
At the party Ellie had her picture made with Cinderella and made this beautiful picture frame all by herself. I was trying to help her, but she told me to go away. So I did.
When we got home from Birmingham, we went outside to play and Ellie decided that today was the day she would learn to ride her tricycle. This is the first time she has ever even wanted to try to pedal.
Today was just another day for Jackson. He cleared the room with his sticky diaper, teased his sister, and made us laugh.
