No More Diapers

Well, it's official, all the Moore's are now potty trained. Jackson is the newest inductee into the potty hall of fame. Congratulations to Jackson on this great accomplishment. He has been accident and diaper free for a little over two weeks. He has even worn his big boy underpants (no pullups) out to eat, to the mall, to wal-mart and even to AL Adventure. YEAH Jackson!

Nana

The month of July has been jammed pack full of excitement. Now I didn't say everuthing that has happened this month has been positive, but nevertheless even the not so positive things have added to the excitement. Over all though we have had some really wonderful things happen over the past month and one of those things was having my Mom here in AL with us. The worst part about the whole thing was when she left us on Sunday. I have never seen my little girl so upset. She truly loves her Nana. Thanks Mom for everything you did for us this summer. We love you!!!

One More Thing

There's one more thing we did on vacation - we went to visit Uncle Derrick and Aunt Ashleigh and go down the water slide. I knew Scott would be upset if I didn't post these pics because he thinks he looks and I quote "ripped". Ellie went down once and that was the end of that. But Jackson my little adreneline junkie went down at least twenty times.

What We Did On Vacation

This is a long post - I told you I took a lot of pics.

On our vacation we spent a lot of time enjoying the beach. Jackson loved the ocean. He ran right in. It was a good thing he liked the water so much, because he hated the sand. That boy hates to be dirty. Everytime he would get sand on his hand you would hear him scream.

Ellie spent her time on the beach playing in the sand.

It wasn't until day 4 that Ellie finally built up the courage to get into the ocean.

We also spent a lot of time at he pool. My Mom bought the kids small knee boards and they loved playing with them in the pool.

Jack jumped right in, but like the ocean it took Ellie most of the week before she would jump in.

Every morning Jackson would have a melt down, which usually ended with him falling asleep on his Dad's chest.

Though Ellie had her moments, she would have stayed st the pool until she fell asleep swimming.

We went to the Myrtle Beach aquarium.

We went fishing.

We spent a lot of time with our family.

We had a great time on our family vacation!!!

One Crazy, Busy Summer

Ok, so I have been receiving comments informing me that my last blog post was on June 8. And though I am well aware of this, I am however unaware as to where the summer has gone. I can not believe that it is already July!!! It has been one crazy, busy summer!!! This past week is a perfect example of the chaos that has been summer. Last Saturday we came home from vacation, painted Ellie and Jack's rooms by Tuesday, my washer broke and was replaced, had my wisdom teeth removed on Wednesday, and threw a 4th of July party. Scott leaves Monday for Youth Camp, but Nana is here for the month of July to help. Hopefully later today I will have a chance to post some vacation pics - I took a lot!
