Shark Attack

Yesterday there was a shark spotted in the Moore bathtub. This shark is considered threatened and dangerous. After being teased and aggravated, the shark retaliated by biting its victim on the arm and again later on the leg. The shark also goes by Ellie, but has been called "baby shark" by her father since her teeth came in.

The victim has been identified as a very mischeivious one year old little boy. Both the boy and the shark will be taken to time out.

Sunday Morning Pictures

You may be wondering what the little mark on Jackson's right cheek is from. Well, he was poked in the face by his sister with a stick. I have no idea what possessed her to do such a thing. I know my mother well enough to know that as soon as she reads this blog she will comment and tell you "why Ellie did this". So just stay tuned to find out more.

Sweet 'N Sour

Sometimes I look at Jackson and swear he is the cutest thing. Just look at that sweet litlle face. Lurking under that sweet exterior is a little stinker. Our sweet little Jackson can turn sour real fast.

Over the last couple of months Jackson has been throwing fits. These are not your normal little tantrums. When he is told no or something gets taken from him, he will bend over and bang his head on the floor, with no regard as to the type of flooring.

Happy Father's Day

We gave Scott a Father's Day Card that said "because I said so". I bought this card because, believe it or not, this is the phase of life we are going through. We refer to it as the "why" phase. Anyone with kids over three has experienced it. After being asked "why" repeatedly you are left with no other answers other than "because I said so". Every new parent vows that they will educate their children and never use that phrase, but eventaully every parent falls to the temptation of resorting to the worn out phase "because I said so". Through every phase of our kids lives Scott has proven to be an excellent father. No, he doesn't always have all the answers, but he has enough love to go around. Happy Father's Day Dada, Poppy, Pappy Steve, Grandpa Lloyd, Pa, Uncle Bob and all the other father's! We love you!!!

The Big Pink Puppy

Those of you have ever visited the Moore house know that there was a rather large pink puppy that shared Ellie's room with her. The kids loved to read stories, lay and even jump on the puppy. I had every intention that when Ellie got her new bed that we would find a new home for the puppy because there was not enough space in her room. Well the puppy found a new home alright. The puppy has now made its home in the living room of the Moore house. I didn't have the heart to get rid of it. The kids love it and it is perfect for them to lay on while they watch movies. I don't know why we couldn't just get bean bag chairs like normal families.

Ellie's New Bed

There have been big changes in the Moore house since we got home. Ellie has a new bed. Before we left for SC, Nana and Poppy brought a new bed for Ellie. Poppy made Ellie a brand new doll house bed. Ellie has slept in her bed every night and plays in it every day. We love her new bed.

Home Again

After two weeks we are finally back home in Tuscaloosa. It took a little coaxing to get us to come home because we were having so much fun in SC. However, once we got home we were happy to be here. We missed Daddy and Gilbert (sounds like Giburp) a lot and were very happy to see them both. Ellie got a little aggravated this morning that Gilbert would not pose for a picture. But she quickly got over it and decided to play with her other best friend "Little Buddy" (Buddy is Ellie's nickname for Jackson).
