Fun In The Sun

The weather has been beautiful and we have loved being able to play outside. In fact, we love it so much that when it's time to come in you can expect that the wailing is going to start. Jackson has gotten so use to playing outside that if you even head towards the door, he takes off crawling as fast as he can. When we're outside they love to swing...

and slide...

and play a little ball.

Ellie and Jackson also like going to watch Cousin Devin play baseball. He's awesome!

Color Fun

Every morning we spend about an hour having what we have tagged learning time. Today we choose to color.

Of course, after every activity there's clean up. Ellie is always willing to help wipe off the play mat.

And after color time everyone gets a sticker.

Jack vs. the Vacuum

During snack, someone decided that it would be more fun to crush the goldfish in her fists, rather than just eating them. This in turn created a very big mess. But have no fear Jackson was near. Jackson immediatley went to work cleaning up the mess.

When I got the vacuum out I think he felt a little threatened. I think I even heard him tell the vacuum to "Back off buddy, I got this."

and then he said to me "What! Someone's got to clean this mess up."

Back Home

The Moore family is together again in AL, and more importantly we are back to blogging. I'm sure everyone missed seeing new entries while we were away.

I love their little t-shirts. Ellie's says "I'm the big sister" and Jackson's says "I'm the little brother." However, I'm not sure "little" is the correct adjective to describe Jackson.

Crackin Up

I set the kids in the chairs to take a picture, but something just cracked them up and they could not quit laughing. Well, I never did get a great picture, but we all got a good laugh.

Happy Birthday Nana

Happy Birthday Nana! We can't wait to see you. Save the birthday fun for when we get there. We'll celebrate with a couple Coke Icees and some french fries, just like you taught us.

Much

When we ask Ellie how much do you love me, she answers back "much" (emphasis on the "ch") and stretches out her arms as wide as they will go.

Playtime

Last night after the kids had finished eating dinner Scott decide that he would tell them to go to Ellie's room and play until we were done eating. I, of course, thought that this was an absurd request. The amazing thing, however, was that they did it. They played in Ellie's room just the two of them. They did a little cooking...

...and a little reading.

Look before...laughing?

I love watching my kids play together. Nothing is sweeter than seeing how even at their young ages they love each other. One of the most adorable things Scott and I have noticed is how whenever something funny happens, they always look at one another and then laugh. It's absolutely precious.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered

Tonight we made Valentine's Day cards. Mama signed them, Ellie decorated the envelopes, Daddy sealed them, and Jackson...well, Jackson was in the room. Despite Jackson's attempts to steal the markers and hide under the table, we were able to finsh the valentines. Our cards are signed sealed, and will soon be delivered.
