This weekend we headed to the pumpkin patch in search of two pumpkins for the kids to decorate.
First, it was Ellie's turn to hunt for that ever so perfect Pumpkin.
Once found, she was more than happy to pose for a picture.
Then it was Jackson's turn. Jackson required a little more coaxing. The only thing Jack was interested in was a ball another kid at the pumpkin patch was kicking around. Once Jackson realized that the pumpkins were round like a ball, he became much more interested. And of course when he finally did choose a pumpkin the first thing he did was...
...throw it. Not a surprise.
Although I'm not entirely sure what the kids are doing in this picture, it looks as though they may be praying a blessing over their pumpkins. After all their Dad is a minister.
After the trip to the pumpkin patch it was time to paint the pumpkins.
I love my little "punkins" and their creations.

The colors are so good in these pictures. Ellie and Jackson both look as if they have gotten taller. I think you have wonderful 'punkins' too.
I love the "praying" picture. Do save it for them!!
